A year and a half ago, my wife and I learned we needed to obtain a variance for our new home construction project. After terminating the services of our first law firm and carefully searching for a new law firm to represent us, we retained Vyzas & Associates. Upon hiring them, lawyers Vince and Alicia met with us and our architect as needed to understand what our variance problem required and how to best address it. They explained the process we needed to go through and gave us sound recommendations to ensure we provided the City what it required to approve our request. During the process both Vince and Alicia remained very aware of our concerns, particularly how important it was to us that the variance be granted, as well as our sensitivity to the additional costs this entailed. In April we were finally granted our variance and believe we surmounted one of the last major obstacles to the completion of our project. We are very pleased with the work Vyzas & Associates did for us and would retain them again for additional legal work, if needed.

I am a New York-based father who wanted to help his son and daughter-in-law buy a home in New Jersey. My New York lawyer advised that he could not do business in that state. A friend in the title business passed on the name Vyzas Associates and arranged a phone introduction with Vincas. Vince struck me as knowledgeable and professional, and I decided to go forward with him. The deal proved far more complex than originally suspected. But Vince was very helpful in connecting us with reasonably priced and responsive professionals in the business of title search, engineering inspectors, and contractors. He was very helpful in developing and executing our game plan vis-à-vis negotiating and getting messaging to the seller through the seller's attorney. In particular I was most impressed with Vince's responsiveness on email; instead of typical 4 to 8 hour lag time for a response, with Vince it was more like a real-time chat. And working with his support staff, for scheduling, document distribution, etc. was easy and efficient. In the end, Vyzas and Associates helped us to navigate through what proved to be a complex deal, reducing our stress with the calming influence of professionalism and experience. And all at what I would construe to be a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend this firm for any New Jersey based real estate transactions.
