Mr. Avery represented my (young adult) son recently, and I would give a 0 star if possible. My son received 0% counseling for his offence after paying thousands of dollars in fees. Mr. Avery drug his case out nearly 3 years. During this time my son would request zoom meetings to receive counseling for his offense and to ask questions and Mr. Avery would leave him sitting on the phone waiting, and was almost ALWAYS a no show. Mr. Avery NEVER returned phone calls or emails. Between myself and my son we drove 9 hours to appear in court after being told his case would finally be heard, Mr. Avery arrived hours late, continued his case (again) and told my son and myself "if you pay more money I can help you" in front of the entire courtroom. When his case was finally heard, Mr. Avery poorly represented him. I honestly think his case would have had a better outcome if he had represented himself. Afterwards, he received his plea in the mail and has not been able to receive any kind of explanation even weeks later. If you want to pay someone to waste your time and money Mr. Avery is the one for you.

Mr Avery and his team are great, I needed some help with a criminal matter and was looking around to find an attorney that would be absolutely truthful regarding my case and someone that wouldn’t just want to take my money. Very upfront honest lawyer. Tough to find that integrity now a days in a attorney. He couldn't do everything and said so upfront gave a price and even offered a deposit of much less. Referred another attorney that could do everything. For that, I give five stars. Some might think it's much but time is money and appreciate yours and your honesty. (He don't get paid for consultation many charge for that) Thank you. Staff was super nice. She called me immediately when I left a email. He got back exactly when he said he would and discussed options.

Hired Trevor Avery for a civil suit, was told $2000 plus filing fees should cover costs to take our case to court as long as it was a simple case. Sheriff dept was unable to find defendants, Mr Avery went to court to find out they were never served, we again paid for filing fees for court, sheriffs department left notices on door were defendants were legally evicted from 3 months prior and nothing. Very poor communication in the law firm office, attorney does not return phone calls. I believe I may have spoken with Mr Avery a total of 1 hr for over a period of months. Finally spoke with Mr Avery and we decided to give up because the next option was to hire a private investigator to find the defendants to be served. Mr Avery said he would send us a check for the remaining money that was in trust account. Received a check for $75 yesterday. Really? Very poor experience at an expensive price. I understand it wasn’t the law firms fault the defendants were never located but I’m not quite sure what cost $1925.maybe I was charged for the times I was on hold or time spent waiting for him to return my call. 😡
