I would not sleep with him so the 1st thing he did is made sure I was divorced so I lost my medical insurance through my husband work. I was a stay at home mom. His only interest in taking your money and doing nothing good for you.

Zero stars is absolutely right. All of these reviews are spot on about Michael. He’s so full of himself that it’s almost convincing. For three years (2020-2023) while I was fighting metastatic breast cancer, I was also fighting my narcissistic deadbeat ex for his rights. Retained Michael for 5k & he ended up taking my case pro bono because he was so sure he would win my case. Told me so many times to just concentrate on healing myself. Spoke to me about his brother that died from kidney cancer when he should have been strategizing how we were going to win in court. My gut feeling screamed at me to fire Michael & find another lawyer. I seriously should have listened after several critical mistakes were made by him and his team on my case. At one point the court threw my entire case out because of something Michael did not have properly prepared. Michael had to re-file!!! Because of his own laziness and lack of effort. THESE REVIEWS DON’T LIE!! My ex represented himself and I had proof of the kind of person he is and still lost. The case went to trial and I was never prepared by Michael for any of it. My ex cried in front of the court and showed up to court dates. That doesn’t make him father of the year. Michael’s negligence is truly affecting peoples lives in such a negative way. My ex never cared about his children and still doesn’t. Luckily my kids are old enough to see it for themselves now. His ego couldn’t take his rights being terminated even though there were a million reasons why they should have been. So I will never forgive the terrible lawyer that Michael is and the promise he broke to my children and I. How do you take someone’s case pro bono and then proceed not to lift a finger on my behalf….TERRIBLE!!! Very unprofessional and I wish I would have never set foot in his office.

Please stay away! Kilpatrick claimed he would quickly resolve my divorce, since there were no children, no community property and the marriage only lasted a few years. He postponed it over and over for a couple years. This caused me to over pay nine thousand in spousal, even though I kept reminding him about it. He would constantly forget my name and forget I was waiting outside the court room. He absolutely was negligent with my case and wanted to charge me thousands of dollars. I will say his staff was helpful and empathetic.

Mr. Kilpatrick has assisted me through out the past 12 years, since early 2012. He is the most Amazing attorney that I have ever meet, he has made the impossible happen and with that, he Saved me and my children. He has truly been our guardian angel in disguise here on earth . Horrible Attorney. Lies just to take your money.. Promise the moon when he knows he can't deliver. He doesn't have your best interest at heart whatsoever. Misrepresenting
