My prenup In both cases, she’s been amazing to work with. For the advanced planning documents, she created my will, power of attorney, and advanced directive. Not only did she do an amazing job with the documents, she really customized them to a very unique family situation I had and thought-through current case law to make sure everything was up-to-date. For the prenup, another law firm in town had left my fiancé and I in a bind: The other law firm had taken forever to get us a draft of the prenup and they’d left-out about half of what we wanted included. So, we were down to less than 2 months to complete the prenup due to the other lawyer. Lacy and I worked together to come up with a reasonable, but aggressive timeline to get the prenup fixed and done on time. She met every one of these deadlines, which really helped put us at ease. With her help, we had it fixed and signed within a month! Lacy’s attention to detail during the prenup process was also impressive. As an example, she was reading-through my assets declaration and noticed that I had life insurance through an employer who isn’t located in New Orleans. She thought I’d forgotten to update it since our move to New Orleans, but actually I work remotely. So, it was accurate, but wow, talk about really looking at things at a detailed level, I was impressed she noticed that and thought to ask about it. Her attention to detail, her responsiveness, and the fact that she completed everything on time makes Lacy a great choice for a lawyer. I highly recommend her.
