Chris Hollingsworth does not care about his clients as much as he cares about the easy money. When I say easy money I mean he will drag court out making the stressful situation more stressful for you, he does not respond in a timely matter if he even does respond, and he will recommend his wife for the house sale in the divorce to accumulate more of your money. When I questioned the court agreement before it was finalized he told me we are out of time for changes to the agreement.

Don’t bother! They “helped” my mother in law in a closing. I called with her on the phone to ask some very specific and important questions and immediately I get attitude from both of the men attorneys. I worked at a law firm for 19 years if I would’ve ever heard an attorney speak to a client the way these two spoke to my mother in law I would have found another attorney for the closing of the home. If she ever buys another home, certainly will never come here absolutely horrible service. As an attorney you should always speak with integrity and speak to your clients with respect they are keeping you in business sadly.

Chris Hollingsworth is the attorney representing my Son and I greatly appreciate him as our attorney. He doesnt just tell you want you want to hear and he communicates with me about my son in which a final court date is coming up Soon. I wanted a lawyer who would fight for my son and I believe he is doing everything he can! I was in the military and on recruiting duty when I hired Chris in 2012. Chris said he had an understanding of divorce when it came to the military. This was not true at all!!! Chris will only go out of his way when you first initially pay him. Anything else you need done in a timely manner (response to emails / phone calls), it could take days or even weeks. Chris represented me for child support reduction / multi count petition. Well, the order was entered into court on 5/23/17, which I was not present for. It took nearly two months to get the multi count petition order because I had to request it. The child support reduction order I also requested, Chris had no clue about. His words, "What order?" I was in disbelief!!! If you want someone to fight for you in court and who is a professional at all times don't go with the Hollingsworth Law Firm. Last, if your divorce is entered into let's say Kendall County, hire an attorney out of another county like DuPage County. Several of these lawyers are good friends which could hurt you when it comes to court or trying to protect you. These lawyers are in it for the money not your protection.

Called law firm looking for information reguarding possible defense in possible lawsuit. Chris took the call and spent 15 mins on the phone explaining my rights. He was great to talk to. Explained everything in detail. I look forward to working with his law firm should the situation arise that I need his services.
