I have a relation of Staples in Ellis through my credit union of all places. A service that I never realized was that some local attorneys allow you so many hours a year of their services for a very small fee if you are a member of certain credit unions. I very much appreciate this and I would never get the hours of service through an attorney for the amount that I'm paying because of the partnership between Staples and Ellis and my credit union. It is both surprising and exciting to know this exists and I am happy to go forward with this company in any or all my needs fall under my contract of service.

Very cut and dry honest firm. I had questions regarding a claim, they were more than happy to answer all my questions and be upfront about the reality of my claim. Despite this firm not personally handling my claim it was an absolutely positive experience to get my questions answered and walk away with more information than I started with. My time was definitely not wasted and if I do have any legal issues in the future I feel confident and safe to work with "Tommy" Thomas Staples.

I’m very pleased with how well Tommy Staples fought for me in the hardest, most difficult & challenging time n my life. Although I never would’ve thought we’d b getting divorced I’m glad I hired a good attorney to handled it for me.. Tommy Staples is an Attorney who excels extremely n difficult times of your case. An Attorney you need in your corner.. I’m so relieved it’s over. However I’m stoked my case ended n my favor. Another great quality Tommy has is communication, which is definitely needed during this time. His communicating all Importance of my case w/me helped it run smother & stay consistent. He is a like able attorney who seems to adore his own family but at same time can relate to you & what your going through. He seems to only b real w/u. He is a great attorney who excels in courtroom and knows how to own the floor.. when need be.. He is not afraid to go to court & fight for you which is what you need in a divorce case.. Thats what he did for my case & can do it for anyone if giving the chance. Divorce is an awful experience. I’ll always hate my family ended tragically n divorce but glad Tommy Staples won my case for me.

If I could give less, I would. 5k & 3 years in a child custody modification case for absolutely nothing. I just got done with a zoom call with the judge & opposing counsel and settled something in less than a minute that Mr. Staples has been arguing over for 3 years! Mr. Staples initiated the hearing to withdraw from my case because I wouldn't give him ANOTHER 5k to actually SCHEDULE THE HEARING. (He said he would have to pay my boss to testify for me, etc.) Guess what? My boss will do it for free, sir. But thanks. P.s. I've never had a lawyer spend hours going through the pictures on my cell phone before. I can't figure out if he was trying to rack up billable hours or what exactly he was looking for, but he did it 3 separate times at 3 different meetings. He spent close to an HOUR looking through my photos on my cell phone to mark the ones he "liked" and thought would be good to use.... for what? You guessed it! The hearing! Remember? The reason I hired him in the first place! The very hearing HE QUIT AT! Yeah, that one. But the judge never got to hear about it, because HE QUIT! HE'S A QUITTER! He took the 5k, did nothing & quit! P.s. After reading even more reviews about Mr. Staples, I want to clarify that I do not think he is a bad human being. I think he's a very caring husband and father. I do however feel that he may "care" too much. Just about non family law. I can tell he wants to do a good job, but he simply doesn't have the time, or the firm forces him to focus on cases that constantly bring in money. I don't know, but I will never use a firm that focuses on multiple kinds of law. I feel like he never knew the details of my case. The first 3 meetings were "catch up" meetings where I had to clarify the details! What a waste of everyone's time! I'm not sure he ever even read through my case! I'm upset because he took my money (5k), made me wait 3 years for a hearing in front of the judge, and when we DO get one, 3 YEARS LATER, use it to QUIT! The 3 years that he WASTED for me with MY 2 DAUGHTERS, I'll never get back!!!! Now I have to start all over again! Do NOT use him for family law!!!! He doesn't have the time or desire to deal with you.
