Everyone here is amazing. The main thing I was impressed with was they truly cared. It is hard to find an attorney who cares more about you and the outcome of your case than the money, but they made me feel like they truly cared about me and I believe it was genuine and not for show. Jared is my attorney and went above and beyond any expectations I had. They got everything done for me quick and efficiently. Everyone there was professional and personable. The Absolute Best! Here's why... I'm a retired law enforcement officer and also a divorcee with children. I have worked with many lawyers of various ilk over the past twenty years. These include criminal lawyers, contract lawyers, divorce lawyers (2 different firms including SVDL), employment law lawyers, and union lawyers. In all, other than attorney Jared Smith at Sierra Vista Divorce Law, I have only ever encountered one other attorney which would be worthy of a lengthy positive review (She is a Judge now and no longer practices as an attorney). Let me be very clear, I am not writing this review for decent work performed on behalf of SVDL. I am writing this review because it was wholeheartedly earned for exceptional services. Associate Attorney Jared Smith represented me in a post-divorce child support modification. Jared is very intelligent and knowledgeable of the law. He is articulate and honest (yes, I am calling an attorney honest, as unbelievable as that is). He offered his services at an incredibly competitive rate and worked with me diligently to ensure he was able to see my case to completion despite my financial restrictions. Jared and his legal team were never out of contact or unavailable to me. Every aspect of my case was discussed and I felt like a member of my own legal team rather than a hapless bystander with a pocketbook for the taking. Jared explained potential legal pitfalls, ramifications, and procedures whenever I did not understand them or have awareness of their existence. Any time a member of my team was unavailable (due to trial or other circumstances), I was notified and given alternative means of contact if needed. Can you think of an attorney who offers such personalized care without charging thousands of dollars per hour? I can, Jared Smith, and the Sierra Vista Divorce Law firm. My legal team at SVDL identified and developed a multi-pronged approach to my case and executed it flawlessly despite numerous attempts by the counter-party to undermine my defense and mislead the court. My trial preparation was one of the best I have ever experienced (remember, I've been prepped for trial in various cases as a law enforcement officer prior to retiring). In the end, and for lack of a better term, we handily won my case. But even had we not (which is how the law works sometimes), the attention and care Jared provided were worth every penny spent. Oh, and did I mention, that this was all accomplished with me on the other side of the country? I have never met Jared in person but if I ever return to southern Arizona, I will be sure to shake his hand and thank him for his graciousness, understanding, dedication, and job well done.
