Excellent service by Alisa S. Thomas and her team. It was a very direct and easy process to resolve our immigration status. Staff was friendly and helpful. As was Ms. Thomas. And I would highly recommend Ms. Thomas to anyone trying to resolve any legal issue or status.

Alisa S Thomas is down right rude and disrespectful. Terrible service. Only wants to hear what she has to say with no questions asked. But isn't that why we paid for the consultation ? She doesn't know how to properly explain everything and just wants to charge the highest fee. She has a temper problem. Terrible terrible terrible. Avoid at all costs. I didn't even go through the full process and it already felt like a scam. Taking my mother and her business elsewhere.

So far the services my mother has received from this law firm have been inadequate and not worth the amount of money she asks for and is paid for. Alisa S Thomas and her staff have not been attentive to my mother's case whatsoever. My mother was waiting on her records, which were requested by her office a year ago, a year went by, and she never heard from anyone. They stated they called my mother back in January and there have been no phone number changes and no record of any phone calls. This office either does not care or cannot keep up with the cases they handle which is unacceptable. Also, my mother never gets direct answers, it has always been her legal aid answering questions and sometimes she is unsure of the answers. There has to be a way of delegating this a lot faster. Ultimately, they have not shown that they have their best interests on their clients. Save your time and go somewhere else.

Never before and never since have I received such hideous treatment from a paid professional. I'll never forget how this immigration attorney refused to take my calls to listen to legitimate concerns about changes in the law in 2008, and when I did get her on the phone, she repeatedly interrupted me, asking, what do you want, what do you want in the most horrendous tone. I was able to beg and plead for an in-person meeting and drove 4 hours with my 4-month old baby in the car only to be treated rudely by her and have her tell us everything was fine. Her horrid receptionist (trained well by her boss) wouldn't even take my call when we were notified of our appointment in Juarez and it was just 2 weeks away. We paid the attorney to prepare documentation of hardship for our case and she simply pulled up a previously prepared document and handed it to me to sign with a different person's name on it. It was all of 30 seconds of work. She referred me to her psychologist friend so he could make $750 off me and write a long babbling statement that no one would read. Ignorantly, we continued with the process and packed up our things to go to Juarez and face the consulate. Once we were denied due to her negligence (a life-changing blow) she refused to take our calls from Mexico, and when she did, she shouted at me that we had gone to the consulate on the wrong day and that must be the problem (WRONG). I got her on the phone a year later and she finally understood why we were denied - I, her ex-client, had to explain the law to her. Her negligence botched our case, exposing us to a denial and further lifetime ban and we have lived in Mexico ever since. Over the years I have contacted her office repeatedly to request that she at least have the decency to refund our money for the hardship evidence she barely provided, but alas, with this class of person you can't expect even that. Laws are changing now as well and I would warn anyone who wishes to have a successful case to steer clear of this 'attorney' who not only does not keep up on the changes, but does not listen to her clients and behaves so rudely and arrogantly it would make your skin crawl. In all my dealings with professional services I have yet to encounter another like this.

She was happy to take my money and then when I called regarding my info she was to busy and then decided to answer my call and screamed at me. I appreciate the advise but I will be working with someone who doesn’t scream at her clients. I can see where the assistants get their attitude when on the phone. If I could I’d give you guys a 0 stars for the unprofessionalism you best believe I would.
