My mother has been having the worst time with this law firm. They settled her case without her present and very munch unaware of how much her settlement was. My mother looked passed that and ultimately signed her settlement agreement on November 8, 2024. It is now January 11, 2025 and my mother still have not received her settlement check. The law firm is now requesting that my mother probed them with a hospital bill which is insane actually because how were you able to settle her case without this documentation!?? My mother personally went to her PCP and obtained the requested documents and now, Geralda and her team are asking for additional bills which does not make any sense at this point in the case. Since my mothers sighing the entire law firm has been playing a game with my mother giving her the run around about things that are out of her control and definitely should have and most like have been handled prior to settlement. Yesterday, my mother was scheduled to speak with Geralda at 2:30pm. Geralda did not even bother to call my mother or let alone provide a courtesy explanation as to why the call didn’t happen. For what is best, please do your research before hiring this law firm. I wish I had done my research prior to allowing my mother to obtain Geralda as a lawyer. Funny thing is this was a personal family referral. Hmmm such a shame.
