I paid $5000 for a level 6 charge and got the max punishment (30 months). Eric and his partner Thomas were rude and talked over me. Especially Eric. I was told because of the judge (Cataldo,) that’s the reason my punishment was so severe, and if it had been any other judge, I wouldn’t have been punished that harshly, but it shouldn’t matter. I didn’t pay all that money to get lowballed. Elkhart is corrupt. So is Becker and Cataldo. Eric is in cahoots with this court . He’s not for the offender. Look into this judge and prosecutor due. Shady!!!!!! Shop around and better yet get the hell out of Elkhart county .
