This is the most unprofessional Law firm I’ve ever seen in my life. This lawyer Mr. Dobson has my brother as one of his clients. My brother honestly went to jail for a fight with his girlfriend (no one was hurt). With most domestic cases, you will be free within 48hrs (depending on how bad it is). My brother has been in jail since August, it is now December. This Lawyer has not kept us updated at all. My brother father had just passed last week and he missed his funeral due to no communication from the lawyer. That was the last and probably only time we had spoken with the lawyer. He pretty much lied and said that he would have my brother out within two days because he felt like he has served enough time, and also didn’t want him to miss his father funeral. We have not heard anything ever since and my brother also went to court yesterday and we have no update. It’s pretty ridiculous. When we call up there, his very rude receptionist Marissa is also lost and doesn’t have any information to give us at all about my brothers case, she only gives us his next court date. She was very rude while our family was trying to figure out what exactly is going on and why aren’t we being updated or have spoken with the lawyer. She rudely cuts us off mid conversation and tries to rush us off the phone. Also, she acts very dumb founded as if she’s lost and doesn’t know what is going on. We are very patient and understanding people, but I think we have been patient enough and honestly would be much happier if we could talk to the lawyer and get an update. We also know being a lawyer can means you’re very busy. But this is what comes with the job and we are simply just asking for an UPDATE at least. This firm is very unprofessional, put lots of cases on hold for months while taking care of other cases, receptionist SUCKS and very rude to the point you would want to curse her out! I would not recommend! I will guarantee you, you would get more help with other lawyers before this one. Please don’t make the same mistakes we did with this firm. It’s almost unbelievable how these people choose to deal with cases and worried families. We are extremely worried and wouldn’t have an update on my brother at all because of the firm. We do not recommend!

Jeff Dobson is an amazing attorney. I have been represented by Mr. Dobson for my divorce a couple years ago, speeding tickets and most recent a Labor Law claim. Originally my labor law claim was with a different attorney who specialized in labor law. That attorney failed to handle my case properly. I ended up hiring Mr. Dobson to take over my case because he was an attorney I knew and trusted. I was thankful he could take my case. I am a single parent and Mr. Dobson worked with me on payment plans. If you want an attorney that truly cares for their clients and has wonderful communication to keep clients informed, this is that attorney. I am truly grateful and satisfied with the outcomes of the cases Mr. Dobson represented me.

Attorney Dobson was hired back in August of 2023 and has collected payments monthly from us and has done NOTHING for sons case. We have not spoke to him not one time or even met him, does not return calls and there is always an excuse for his secretary. Today we recieved a letter that his firm is closing and yet he took our money which will be dealt with in the nc state bar. Please do not hire this guy he doesn't come through with his word.
