My husband hired this lawyer to handle our immigration process and he was late all the time leaving us to wait 30-45 minutes every time we were scheduled to meet him. Mr. Bercovitch was also in the habit of rudely making personal texts in the middle of our paid for and scheduled meetings and he has the audacity to overcharge after displaying this behavior. We’ve since hired someone else who showed us more respect. Response to Owners comment: You shouldn’t have to be told as a professional adult that personal texts and tardiness is unacceptable because your clients time is just as valuable as your time. We were honestly annoyed by it but my husband kept telling me not to say anything because he’s too nice; however I stand my ground. No need to call him again for explanations just do better and treat people as you’d like to be treated and you will receive better reviews. Sorry if this is throwing salt on a wound but it needed to be said.

Hired David for a dog bite case. At about one month after hiring, I called to inquire on status as I had heard nothing. During the call, it was clear my initial background information on the situation had not even been read (basic questions I had answered in depth were asked). About two months in, I followed up again (about the fourth time) as I had not once been contacted or updated by David and team. No progress had still been made and minimal effort was put into the case. Both the office and David were rude, and it was rare for anything to be communicated with David directly, typically only with the secretary. Update: I think the response speaks for itself in terms of professionalism and treatment of clients.
