About Ames Immigration Law PLLC

An attorney for over 35 years, Sharon has practiced in criminal and family court. For the past 23 years she has practiced exclusively in immigration law. As Immigration Director, Sharon helped establish the NY Regional Immigration Assistance Center (RIAC), Region 2 , where she provided immigration advice to criminal defense and family court counsel in 16 counties as required for their non-citizen clients. She now consults for privately retained attorneys and conducts trainings in the area of “crimmigration.” Sharon is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is fluent in Spanish.

Stay away from her. She only works part time, with no staff. Told me that my partner could not get green card, but my partner managed to get green card, hiring another lawyer. Charged me $275 for "consultation" , which was useless.
