Update: it was ALL a charade to hire him! Josh represented me in a discrimination and retaliation case up until the moment he didn't. When I asked him to do something as my representative. (Make a Counter offer; which was one of my options he gave me to begin with) then he suddenly, without warning or notice, released me from his representation. Stating that's not what HE wanted to do and said "since we can't agree on which direction to take"... Are you kidding me? I chose one of the options you gave me! Now, with only 2 days left before the offer from my employer expired. 2 days!!!! How can I find a replacement to represent me in a discrimination case in 2 days? How unethical! I would never recommend this firm. He was also very condescending towards me after the first few calls and tried to make me feel inferior to him. I will be reporting this to the ethics board as well. I was in a TIME CRUNCH (hours between first call and needing representation asap) and I googled "Best HOUSTON DISCRIMINATION ATTORNEY" honestly, I contacted 2. This group, by far, surpassed expectations and has been soooooo helpful. I too, felt as though Josh Verde CARES! It is extremely refreshing and comforting to have someone on MY side for a change that recognizes the extreme dysfunction between corporate America and the employees who make them!
