Pfizer Inc.’s Greenstone LLC unit reported Saturday that two drugs are being recalled because they may have been mislabeled by a third-party manufacturer. Citalofram, a drug used to treat depression, may be labeled as finasteride, intended to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia, and vice versa. About 525,000 wireless headsets made by GN Netcom Inc. are being recalled after reports of batteries in the devices overheating and catching fire, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. More than a half-million Simplicity Drop Side Cribs sold at major retailers nationwide have been ordered recalled due to a threat of infant entrapment, strangulation, and suffocation, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said. The massive recall comes less than a month after 900,000 Simplicity-brand convertible bassinets were ordered off store shelves following reports of two infants dying after becoming trapped by a metal bar on the infant beds.
