59th Mesothelioma Case in Minnesota Iron Range Miners
A 59th case of mesothelioma, the rare and most often deadly form of lung cancer, has been found in a group of Minnesota miners, state officials said. The latest case comes to light as the Minnesota Department of Health continues its study of miners who worked in the Iron Range mines from the 1930s until 1982.
