Safety Regulators Investigate Jeep, Honda Vehicles

Auto safety regulators are looking into a series of complaints about 2002 and 2003 model year Jeep Liberty vehicles over possible problems with airbag deployment. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, seven consumer complaints allege airbag problems with the Liberty SUV. Five of the complaints reported injuries when the airbag deployed. Regulators will determine whether the manufacturer needs to address a safety issue, which could lead to a recall.
