The Food and Drug Administration is warning that birth control pills made by Bayer AG could significantly increase the risk of blood clots. A recent study released by the FDA said that women taking pills containing the hormone drospirenone are 74 percent more likely to experience clots than those on low- estrogen pillsThe issue will be further discussed in December, federal authorities said.
