		<description>You may want to look at a post I made today.  This would certainly help the recall efforts before a device was implanted.  The service is free and all one needs is a cell phone to scan the code on a package of a device before surgery.  

The information from the code can be updated at any time too, so recalls, additional information can be added/deleted as needed.  General Mills is already using it for good products in grocery stores.
