New York City School Bus Hits, Kills Student
A New York City high school freshman was struck and killed by a school bus while walking to school in the Queens section of the city, officials said.
The 14-year-old girl was killed while walking to Francis Lewis High School. She was pronounced dead later at a hospital.
It was not clear where the bus, which was carrying about special education students four passengers at the time of the accident, was heading when it struck the student, officials said.
