900,000 Pounds of Lean Cuisine Chicken Dinners Recalled
Nearly one million pounds of Lean Cuisine brand frozen chicken dinners have been recalled after consumers reporting finding small pieces of hard, blue plastic in the food, officials said.
One consumer reported biting into plastic in one of the dinners, but no reports of injuries from the contaminated dinners have been reported, officials said.
Three brands of Lean Cuisine dinners that were sold nationwide are named in the recall, including Cafe Classics Pesto Chicken with Bow Tie Pasta, Spa Cuisine Chicken Mediterranean and Dinnertime Selects Chicken Tuscan.
Consumers who purchased the recalled Lean Cuisine dinners are urged to return the unused products to the store where they were purchased for a full refund, officials said.
